### FishMIP projected fish biomass change for the Antarctica Large Marine Ecosystem (LME) ### Data downloaded from https://rstudio.global-ecosystem-model.cloud.edu.au/shiny/FAO_report_shiny/ on 2025-12-02 Fierro-Arcos D., Novaglio, C., Clawson, S.G., & Blanchard J.L. (2024). Shiny app to explore FishMIP climate change projections by country and marine regions. ## Associated publication Novaglio, C., Fierro-Arcos D., Clawson, S.G., Blanchard J.L. & FishMIP (2024). Data and code used to produce maps and projections in FAO Technical Paper 707. ### Description The Fisheries & Marine Ecosystem Model Intercomparison Project (FishMIP) provides projected changes in fish biomass under SSP1-2.6 (low-emissions) and SSP5-8.5 (high-emissions) scenarios. Projections are presented as decadal means for 2041–2050 (medium-term) and 2091–2100 (long-term), expressed relative to the 2005–2014 reference period. ### Processing steps 1. Download all files from https://rstudio.global-ecosystem-model.cloud.edu.au/shiny/FAO_report_shiny/ for the Antarctica LME and file in cwd/input 2. Run 02_grid_data.py * Read all CSV files from input/ * Convert point values representing 1° grid-cell centres into centred 1° × 1° raster grids * Create one 5-band GeoTIFF for each input CSV, covering each time period and emissions scenario * Write band descriptions as: - Band 1 = min_change - Band 2 = max_change - Band 3 = mean_change - Band 4 = median_change - Band 5 = sd_change * Set NoData to -9999 * Save outputs as DEFLATE-compressed EPSG:4326 GeoTIFFs in output/
