###	Processing steps:

    1.  Download species distribution GeoTIFFs from https://doi.org/10.25959/4GVK-RM21 and file in cwd/input
    
    2.  Run 02_stack_tifs.py
        * Read single-band TIFFs from input/
        * Create one 3-band GeoTIFF per species
        * Write band descriptions as:
            - Band 1 = "2003-2005"
            - Band 2 = "2014-2016"
            - Band 3 = "change"
        * Convert NoData values to -9999
        * Write outputs to output/


    3.  Run 03_global_metrics.py
        * Read single-band TIFFs from input/
        * Create global mean and richness tifs
            - For HIMI_allspp_global_mean.tif, calculate mean probability of occurrence across species
            - For HIMI_allspp_global_richness.tif, sum probability of occurrence across species
        * Write band descriptions as:
            - Band 1 = "2003-2005"
            - Band 2 = "2014-2016"
            - Band 3 = "change"
        * Calculate change as 2014-2016 minus 2003-2005
        * Set NoData to -9999 and write outputs to output/global/
